PDF Library Setup in SureDonation

The PDF Receipt settings allow you to install the required PDF library so donors can download PDF receipts from their donor dashboard.

Once the PDF library is installed, SureDonation can generate downloadable PDF receipts for completed donations.

Access PDF Receipt Settings

To access the PDF Receipt settings:

• Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
• Navigate to SureDonation > Settings.
• Click PDF Receipt from the left sidebar.

PDF Receipt Overview

The PDF Receipt section displays the current status of the PDF library.

You will see the following information:

PDF Receipt: Install the PDF library to enable downloadable PDF receipts in the donor dashboard.

PDF Library: Required for generating downloadable PDF receipts.

When the library is not installed, the status will show as Not Installed.

Install the PDF Library

To enable downloadable PDF receipts, you need to install the PDF library.

To install it:

• Go to SureDonation > Settings > PDF Receipt.
• Locate the PDF Library section.
• Confirm the status shows Not Installed.
• Click the Install PDF Library button.
• Wait for the installation to complete.

After successful installation, a confirmation message will appear:

PDF library installed successfully.

The PDF Library status will change to Installed.

After Installation

Once the PDF library is installed:

• The library status changes to Installed.
• The message mPDF library is installed and ready appears.
• Donors can access downloadable PDF receipts from the donor dashboard.
• The Install PDF Library button is replaced with the Remove PDF Library button.

Remove the PDF Library

If needed, you can remove the installed PDF library.

To remove it:

• Navigate to SureDonation > Settings > PDF Receipt.
• Click Remove PDF Library.
• The PDF library will be removed from your site.

After removal, downloadable PDF receipt generation will no longer be available until the library is installed again.

Important Note

The PDF library is required for generating downloadable PDF receipts. If the library is not installed, donors will not be able to download PDF receipts from the donor dashboard.
